...I read about knitting.  I got these the other day:

I got them through the Crafter's Choice Book Club.  I only order in batches when they have a really good offer.  The deal has to beat the prices at KnitPicks, Overstock.com & Walmart before I order from them.  It doesn't hurt when I accumulate enough points for a free book either.  I ended up getting all of these (shipping included) for about 1/2 the retail price--nice! 

I haven't had time to read any of them yet but I've read reviews of some of them on the Knitter's Review forum.  I spend too much time there mostly lurking and learning.  Most of the things I would say in responses are usually said by someone else and it just feels silly being redundant.  The folks there are great though and they know so much.  There are times I feel like I'm big stuff for "getting" a new technique and then I'll read a post that'll wow me and put me back where I belong.  I tend to be a bit competitive in some areas of my life and this is what keeps me so interested in knitting.
