Caffeine, how you do me wrong!  I've been decaf for about 3 years (my doc's orders).  I don't really miss it.  I don't need it in the morning, or any other time of the day actually.  My body has long since adjusted out of  the caffeine cycle.  So for the second time in about the last 2 months I order a decaf Mocha Madness which turns out to be a fully loaded caffeinated version.  And the word "decaf" was stressed at least twice.  Decaf, people!  I didn't get any sleep the last time this happened and I probably won't get any sleep tonight.  I'll just be up knitting into the wee hours.  It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have deadlines for work in the morning.

Wow!  I ordered this online 6 days ago and here it is!  My first experience with Elann.com:

I will be swatching the Esprit as soon as I finish this post.  DS wants a knit hat out of the black (to make his hot head even hotter, but what does he care if it makes him look coooool, right?).  Esprit looks like a clone of Cascade Fixation which I currently have a fixation on.  I'm going for a tight knit so I'll be stretching it a bit taut as I go.  I think I could bounce this ball of yarn off the floor with the way its wound and the amount of elastic that's blended in.

The fuzzy skeins in the package are Classic Elite Yarns Galaxy.  I think its a discontinued yarn.  I've been steering away from fur yarns lately but this one is mostly cotton (90%) and I was drawn to it magically.  Its substantial enough to actually control while stitching.  I've dropped too many stitches using those slippery nylon or polyester versions.
